Opened: Feb 19, 2015

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

Some iApps fail when deployed by a user with role privilege lower than "admin".

Impact

Affected templates: f5.dns f5.ldap f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010 f5.http f5.sap_enterprise_portal f5.peoplesoft_9 f5.sap_erp f5.microsoft_iis f5.bea_weblogic f5.oracle_ebs

Conditions

This occurs with users other than admin that deploy certain iApps.

Workaround

None

Fix Information

Users with "manager" role may now control iApps, provided that no object permissions are violated. Admin privilege is required for AFM configurations, LTM security-logs, and NTLM profiles, so the iApps disable or hide those features.
