Opened: Mar 22, 2015

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

Normally, on VE-1NIC, the ssh-in session is kept after the context switches. However, the ssh-in session is terminated when its packets are fragmented, for example, starting/stopping/restarting TMM and MCPD, and others.

Impact

The system terminates the on-going session. You must reopen a new ssh-in session.

Conditions

This is a rarely occurring issue. It happens when VE is provisioned with 1NIC enabled, and the ssh-in packets are fragmented.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The ssh-in session is no longer terminated when its packets are fragmented, for example, starting/stopping/restarting TMM and MCPD, and others.
