Symptoms

The BIG-IP system does not prevent the same MAC masquerade address from being assigned to multiple traffic groups in the same system. Although this is an incorrect configuration, the system does not prevent it.

Impact

Impacts correct packet delivery to the appropriate service within the BIG-IP system.

Conditions

A DSC configuration, with multiple traffic groups configured, with two or more traffic groups are configured for the same 'MAC Masquerade' address.

Workaround

Update the configuration to specify a unique MAC masquerade address for each traffic group.

Fix Information

Validation has been added to prevent configuring a duplicate MAC masquerade address in multiple traffic groups.
