When users create virtual servers and supply custom netmasks for the virtual servers in the same transaction, the newly created virtual servers will have the default netmasks of 255.255.255.255
The netmask of the virtual server will have the default value. Users will need to do another transaction to modify the netmask to its desired value.
Setting the netmask and creating the virtual server have to be in the same transaction.
Modify the netmask of the virtual server after it has been created in a separate transaction
The custom netmask is set correctly on the newly created virtual server.
