Symptoms

An incorrect VLAN error message is displayed when using the wizard to add a VLAN in VCMP guest.

Impact

Unable to create VLANs using the wizard on VCMP guest. The system posts a message similar to the following: The VLAN has no interface, do you want to continue?

Conditions

Use the VLAN wizard on VCMP guest.

Workaround

Add the VLANs to the guest using the vCMP host. For specific configurations such as route domains within a guest, access the VLAN menu within the guest instead of using the wizard.

You can create VLANs using the wizard on VCMP guest without an incorrect error message.
