Validation fails to reject WAM/AAM extensions beginning with *.
Policy appears to have loaded but it has not, and WAM/AAM will be in full bypass, so there is no WAM/AAM acceleration. Although the system logs an error in /var/log/tmm, it might not be apparent. The error appears similar to the following: WAC [wac_finalize_policy]: ERROR - unable to compile policy '/Common/Copy2 of Generic Policy - Complete'.
Erroneously prepending *. to an extension value in a WAM/AAM policy.
Remove the *. from extensions in WAM/AAM policy.
A leading *, *., or dot in policy extension value is now ignored, which logs an error in /var/log/tmm similar to the following: notice WAM policy error: initial '*.' in extension 'html' ignored.
