Symptoms

When a user with only Resource Administrator rights goes to System :: Software Management :: Boot Locations :: HD1.x Admin GUI page, the system allows the 'Install Configuration' menu option be changed to 'Yes', even though Resource Administrators do not have rights to change user objects contained in the config.

Impact

If the Resource Administrator user sets the option to 'Yes' and then tries to boot to another location, the GUI page hangs at the rebooting page. The reboot itself fails and the following error is logged in /var/log/ltm: err tmsh[10535]: 01420006:3: unexpected argument 'reboot'.

Conditions

Resource Administrator accessing the 'Install Configuration' option on the System :: Software Management :: Boot Locations :: HD1.x page.

Workaround

Leave Install Configuration' set to as 'No' if you are a Resource Administrator user.

Fix Information

Install Configuration on System :: Software Management :: Boot Locations page is now greyed out, and 'No' remains the default for users with only Resource Administrator rights.
