The datasync-global-dg device-group is automatically created and maintained by the system when either ASM or FPS are provisioned. This device-group is created as a manually-synced device-group. Changing this device-group to auto-sync may cause devices to become offline for several minutes during an auto-sync, so we no longer allow this device-group to be set to auto-sync. Changing this device-group to auto-sync will silently be ignored. Also, upgrading from previous releases in which this device-group was set to auto-sync will be automatically be changed to manual-sync.
Setting the datasync-global-dg device-group to auto-sync may cause devices to become offline for several minutes during an auto-sync.
ASM or FPS are provisioned and the datasync-global-dg is set to auto-sync enabled and the software is upgraded from 11.6.0 to a higher version.
Do not change the datasync-global-dg device-group to auto-sync enabled. If it is already set to auto-sync, changing it back to auto-sync disabled prevents this issue from happening.
The automatically created device-group 'datasync-global-dg' no longer can be set to auto-sync enabled.
