Opened: Jul 02, 2015

Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

Mac EdgeClient saves in-memory PIN for RSA Soft Token integration which automatically used for subsequent login attempt.

Impact

PIN saved for the next login, this may cause confusion.

Conditions

-- Mac EdgeClient is used. -- RSA Soft Token integration is configured. -- Connectivity profile configured to save password on disk. -- When accessing the logon page, the APM end-user first enters incorrect PIN and only then correct. Correct PIN from the second attempt should be stored for next login. -- On next login saved PIN isn't used.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

Now EdgeClient properly respects password policy received from APM and doesn't save PIN when not needed.
