Areas of the standard MIB and Traps were incomplete and needed to be addressed for third party management tools to be used to manage the BIG-IP.
Other tools must be used to query the BIG-IP when SNMP support does not cover an area.
Standard MIBs and Traps are required for SNMP based management tools.
