Symptoms

TCP sends IP fragments in spite of PMTU message.

Impact

IP fragmentation.

Conditions

BIG-IP has received an ICMP PMTU message.

Workaround

Set the MSS in the TCP profile sufficiently low to avoid inducing ICMP messages in the future.

Fix Information

Properly process ICMP packets.
