Fixed In:
12.1.0

Opened: Aug 23, 2015
Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

Wildcard entities must each have a unique order for their pattern processing. Through a series of configuration changes it is possible for the user to get into a situation where it has assigned the same order number to multiple wildcard entities. This leads to a failure when attempting to Apply the Policy.

Impact

Policy is unable to be applied.

Conditions

Multiple configuration changes are made to objects, flipping their state from wildcard to explicit and vice-versa, while creating new wildcard entities in-between.

Workaround

Export/Import the policy

Fix Information

Wildcard order is correctly adjusted when an object's type is set to wildcard.
