Symptoms

When operating in CC/FIPS mode, TMOS now uses SHA384-HMAC instead of MD5-HMAC as the key derivation function for password based AES keys. If a configuration with password based AES keys is switched to CC/FIPS mode, the keys will no longer work.

Impact

Password based AES keys no longer works.
