Fixed In:

Opened: Sep 09, 2015

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

Virtual Server profile changes are ignored if it has /Common/vdi and /Common/vdiplugin assigned

Impact

Changes to profiles on a Virtual Server (addition of new profiles, deletion of profiles, changing existing profiles) has no effect until: - either /Common/vdiplugin is removed from Virtual Server profile list - or tmm is restarted

Conditions

/Common/vdi and /Common/vdiplugin assigned to a Virtual Server

Workaround

Remove /Common/vdiplugin from Virtual Server profile list. This can only be done via tmsh. There is no GUI option.

Fix Information

Having /Common/vdi and /Common/vdiplugin assigned to a Virtual Server does not affect other profiles. Profile changes on a virtual server are immediately effective and do not require tmm restart.
