Symptoms

In TMSH when adding any item with a quote, the quote is escaped properly, causing quotes to be lost. For example if you add a string: "\"This is an example\"" GUI display: "This is an example" tmsh display: This is an example

Impact

This can impact iApps for the iApps that consume string data from tmsh if the string data has quotes in it.

Conditions

String fields that contain quotes displayed in tmsh

Workaround

Before this fix, you could save escape characters in the GUI, but not in TMSH.
