Symptoms

An invalid IP Whitelist Exception causes a validation error on upgrade. This results in ASM Configuration being lost.

Impact

ASM Configuration being lost on upgrade.

Conditions

A Whitelist IP Exception exists with an invalid netmask (ex. 255.55.255.255), and Ignore Anomalies enabled. Upgrade from before 11.4.x to 11.4.x through 12.0.0.

Workaround

Fix the invalid Whitelist IP Exception in the old configuration before upgrade.

Fix Information

Upgrade will no longer fail due to an invalid Whitelist IP Exception.
