Symptoms

When creating a monitor whose description contains escape characters, they get double-escaped. Example: root@(v11-5-01)(cfg-sync Disconnected)(Active)(/Common)(tmos)# create ltm monitor http http_foobar description \@\#\$\@\#\$\@\#\$\@\#\$\@\#\$ root@(v11-5-01)(cfg-sync Disconnected)(Active)(/Common)(tmos)# list ltm monitor http http_foobar ltm monitor http http_foobar { defaults-from http description "@\\#\\$@\\#\\$@\\#\\$@\\#\\$@\\#\\$"

Impact

Description contains extra backslashes.
