Symptoms

If you are using iRule event agent on the 12.1.0 release, you may see an intermittent Access Policy execution hang. The hang occurs during the execution of ACCESS::policy agent_id.

Impact

Policy execution intermittently hangs.

Conditions

iRule event agent is configured. iRule uses ACCESS_POLICY_EVENT_AGENT event Within this event, ACCESS::policy agent_id command is used.

Workaround

Please use this command: ACCESS::session data get {session.custom_event.id}

Fix Information

A hang related to the use of ACCESS::policy agent_id has been fixed.
