In order to launch a native RDP resource, the APM end user nmust download an automatically-generated .rdp file which is later used for launching the RDP client. Because the Microsoft Remote Desktop client does not cleanup .rdp files up automatically, the .rdp files may accrue in the end user client's Downloads folder over time.
Downloaded .rdp files are not automatically removed by the RDP client.
Launching a native RDP resource.
Remove .rdp files manually from the Downloads folder from time to time to free up space.
APM now generates .rdp filename with some randomly generated strings in it. However, those files still remain in the Downloads folder unless the end user client removes them manually.
