pgadmind process restarts continuously. The ltm log contains messages similar to the following: err postgres[23237]: [1-1] FATAL: bogus data in lock file "postmaster.pid": "" err pgadmind[23229]: 01890008:3: Postgres stopped with a non-zero status (1). notice pgadmind[23229]: 0189000b:5: Shutting down postgres.
pgadmind process restarts continuously.
This occurs when the pid file is corrupt (i.e., containing content that fails to parse, e.g., 0x116 bytes of null characters).
None.
pgadmind now handles corrupt pid files, so the restart loop no longer occurs.
