The number of topology load balanced DNS queries per second that a GTM device can handle is down by up to ten percent for cases with large numbers of topology records.
The performance of the device is slightly reduced.
Reduced topology performance can be measured in most cases where topology based load balancing is used, but will likely only be noticed in cases where the number of topology records in use is approaching or greater than ten thousand.
If possible, it is recommended to reduce the number of configured topology records to the minimum that is required. Removing records that are no longer relevant can help mitigate this issue.
The performance of handling topology records has been improved.
