When Device ID is enabled on any of the configuration screens within the ASM Policy, DoS Profile, or Antifraud profile, the Device IDs are stored in a local database. This database is not mirrored to the standby device. After a failover event, the Device ID database will be repopulated based on incoming traffic.
A small number of clients may be reported with a different Device ID following the failover.
This is visible when Device ID is enabled and a failover event happens.
