VLAN failsafe generates traffic using ICMP which fails if VLAN CMP hash is non-default.
There are very rare situations in which failsafe triggers but it should have not.
VLAN failsafe configured on a non-default cmp-hash VLAN. When the VLAN failsafe situation occurs, and the generated arp requests are not being answered, VLAN failsafe resorts to ICMP.
