When saving the configuration of an SSLi/SSLo iApp (v1.5), the system generates a number of warning log messages starting with the following text: [variable reference used where variable name expected].
These messages are benign and do not indicate an issue with the system There is no impact on the appliance or operation. Depending on the configuration of the iApp, however, the messages might number in the hundreds.
This occurs during the save phase of the iApp deployment for the SSLi/SSLo v1.5 iApp. It does not occur during system startup or normal operation.
Although there might be a large number of messages, they are all benign and can be ignored.
