The GUI automatically removes leading and trailing spaces.
String fields created using the GUI have their leading and trailing spaces removed.
This occurs for any string field, for example, it might occur for datagroup strings that contain leading or trailing spaces.
Use tmsh if a string field needs to have a leading or trailing space.
