Symptoms

When uninstalling Safenet client 6.2 from a BIG-IP chassis, it can't remove libgem.so and generates the following error: rm: cannot remove `/usr/lib64/openssl/engines/libgem.so': Read-only file system.

Impact

Uninstall is unable to complete.

Conditions

This can be triggered when uninstalling the safenet client using the command safenet-sync.sh -u.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

When uninstalling Safenet client 6.2 from a BIG-IP chassis, the system can now remove libgem.so, so there is no error condition, and uninstall can complete as expected.
