Symptoms

Operator users receive the following error in response to certain commands: Unexpected Error: Can't display all items, can't get object count from mcpd.

Impact

Operator-level users are unable to issue 'show' and 'list' commands on top-level objects, but can 'show' and 'list' specific configuration objects.

Conditions

-- The user is 'Operator' level. -- The command is a top-level list or show command, such as the 'show running-config' command.

Workaround

Issue commands for specific configuration objects.

Fix Information

Operator-level users are now able to issue 'show' and 'list' commands on top-level objects without error.
