Symptoms

When you promote the standby BIG-IQ to active, the standby device might switch to standalone mode.

Impact

Confusing high availability (HA) status.

Conditions

This can occur during manually initiated high availability (HA) failover.

Workaround

Initiate failover from the active BIG-IQ.
