Symptoms

After you generate log message reports in APM and export them to CSV files, the CSV files contain only the parameters for the log messages. To rebuild the actual log messages from the CSV file requires log templates and they are not available.

Impact

CSV log files are hard to interpret without the log templates and the templates are not available.

Conditions

This occurs when exporting to CSV by navigating to Access Policy :: Reports: View Reports : General Reports: System Messages : Run Report (right-click) : displaying log messages : Export to CSV File.
