After an upgrade, the post-upgrade ipsec-policy or ike-peer configuration may be different from the pre-upgrade version.
After an upgrade, tunnels may fail to establish or establish using a stronger cipher set.
-- ipsec-policy or ike-peer uses default setting(s). -- The BIG-IP software is upgraded.
After upgrade, set the configuration objects to the required values.
The tmsh schema has been improved to show IPsec values must be persisted by saving, even if they equal the default values. This way, if software upgrade changes the defaults, the old default values will be used when explicitly saved in the configuration. Thus default IPsec values do not appear to change after upgrading.
