Opened: Jul 20, 2017
Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

AAM caches content for serving without access to the original web server. It also caches compression content, which is accounted in a separate list. In very rare instances, the list might contain inconsistent data, which causes a tmm crash once the list is released.

Impact

While the daemon restarts, that tmm cannot take control in the high availability (HA) configuration to process traffic. Traffic disrupted while tmm restarts.

Conditions

- AAM provisioned and configured. - AAM caches and serves compressed content. - BIG-IP system fails over.
