The init process spawns the /sbin/agetty over and over, filling the log file daemon.log.
Excessive logging.
BIG-IP Virtual Edition without a serial port.
Change 'respawn' to 'off' in /etc/init/serial-ttySX.conf.
Serial ports are now correctly detected.
