Symptoms

When a TMSH command to show or delete DNS cache resolver RRset records uses the owner option, and that option is not a valid domain name, then the owner option is ignored without a message. This will cause all RRset records in the cache to be shown or deleted.

Impact

The owner option is ignored and all records are shown or deleted without an error message.

Conditions

The owner option is invalid, for example, it starts with a dot.

Workaround

Be sure to use a valid domain name for the owner option.
