Symptoms

When an interface is associated with a VLAN whose tag value is '1', traffic is incorrectly sent out as untagged.

Impact

Incorrect routing/switching of traffic.

Conditions

1. Create a VLAN with a tag value of '1'. 2. Associate an interface with the VLAN whose value is '1'. 3. Send traffic out that interface.

Workaround

Use VLANs with a tag value different from '1'.
