Symptoms

When running Virtual Edition (VE) in Google Compute Engine, some log messages are emitted of the form: -- err mcpd[31409]: 01071a95:3: Admin IP (10.128.0.5/255.255.255.255): Gateway (::) for management route (/Common/dhclient_route1) is not in a connected network. -- err mcpd[31409]: 01071a95:3: Admin IP (10.128.0.5/255.255.255.255): Gateway (10.128.0.1) for management route (/Common/default) is not in a connected network. These messages are benign and can be ignored.

Impact

Spurious log messages.

Conditions

-- Deploy BIG-IP VE in Google Compute Engine. -- Look at /var/log/ltm for the time period during startup.

Workaround

There is no workaround at this time.

Fix Information

These log messages are no longer emitted.
