Opened: Sep 06, 2017

Severity: 3-Major

Symptoms

Trunk throughput is significantly less than twice the data rate of the individual interface members when combining them into a trunk.

Impact

Unexpectedly degraded performance. Note: Performance impact can vary, depending on source and destination IP address and port combinations.

Conditions

B2000-Series blades with two interfaces configured together as a trunk with traffic exceeding the rate of the single interface capacity.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

The trunk now appropriately distributes traffic between the trunk members.
