Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

If you disconnect from the VPN while there is no connectivity on a statically-configured network adapter, and then if the network connectivity is restored to that adapter after the disconnection, the default route is not restored. With this release, the Desktop Client restores the default route on the disconnected interface.

Impact

- Device is left without a default route, thus has no connectivity to internet.

Conditions

- Statically configured network adapter - Connect to full tunnel VPN - VPN is disconnected when there is no network connectivity after having connected and network connectivity is restored on the adapter.

Workaround

As a workaround, you can either manually add a default route to the network adapter gateway, or enable DHCP on the network adapter.
