Symptoms

The following APM MIB counters are not updated even if sessions are consuming concurrent user licenses: apmPcStatTotConns apmPcStatCurConns apmPcStatMaxConns apmGlobalConnectivityStatTotConns apmGlobalConnectivityStatCurConns apmGlobalConnectivityStatMaxConns

Impact

As a result of this issue, you may encounter one or more of the following symptoms: -- When you view the values returned by the SNMP query, the connection counter values are always 0 (zero). -- When you view the connection counter statistics that the following TMOS Shell (tmsh) command returns, the related counters increment: tmsh show /apm license

Conditions

Session is established with a virtual server that is associated with an access profile that uses a connectivity resource.

Workaround

None. BIG-IP software does not currently implement an SNMP OID that returns consumed Connectivity Connectivity Sessions (CCU) counts. To do this you must configure a custom SNMP OID. You can find information about how to do so in K96612400: How to create a custom SNMP OID for APM CCU count :: https://support.f5.com/csp/article/K96612400.
