Symptoms

While running End Point inspection in APM access policy for accessing Office Apps or APM as SAML IdP for federating Office 365, Office apps embedded browser may not launch End Point Inspection application. The system displays the following message: 'Did you mean to switch apps?', And after clicking 'Yes', the Office Apps browser still displays the 'Waiting for Endpoint Inspection' window.

Impact

End Point Inspection is not started. You must retry by clicking 'More Options' :: 'Try to launch endpoint inspection again'.

Conditions

-- Microsoft Windows 10. -- End Point inspection in APM access policy for accessing Office Apps. -- Embedded browser. -- Immediately clicking 'Yes' in response to the message 'Did you mean to switch apps?'. Note: If there is some delay in clicking, the issue is not seen.

Workaround

Click 'More Options' :: 'Try to launch endpoint inspection again'.
