Symptoms

The kernel daemon kswapd is taking 99% of CPU in Guest.

Impact

High CPU usage.

Conditions

Guests with very low amounts of memory in the guest's kernel normal zone.

Workaround

On the vCMP host, reduce the memory given to the guest by using the resource provisioning page of the GUI to set the Management module to medium (or large). Note: Adjusting the Management module will cause all guests to restart.
