Symptoms

EdgeClient from BIG-IP v12.1.2 or newer is used to connect to BIG-IP v11.6.1 HF2. When there is an access policy failure (e.g., Firewall check), my.policy refers to /vdesk/hangup.php. When EdgeClient accesses /vdesk/hangup.php, TMM issues a RST, citing an error similar to the following: err tmm[24579]: 01230140:3: RST sent from 10.192.121.174:80 to 192.168.85.132:52828, [0x1d509ec:2752] Access encountered an error (Address in use).

Impact

TMM issues RST when APM client accesses /vdesk/hangup.php.

Conditions

-- Create an Access Policy with Firewall or Anti-Virus check. -- Get EdgeClient from BIG-IP v12.1.2 release. -- Install EdgeClient on a Windows system that does not have Firewall/Anti-Virus. Note: This issue happens intermittently.

Workaround

None.
