Opened: Dec 07, 2017

Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

A stray IPv6 route remains after migrating a multi-NIC system using dual-stack management to single NIC with IPv4 management, and then rebooting.

Impact

The previously configured IPv6 route remains in the configuration; however, there is no noticeable impact.

Conditions

-- System starts as a multi-NIC configuration and uses dual-stack support for the management interface. -- System is then migrated to a single NIC system (which does not support dual stack). -- System is rebooted.

Workaround

Delete the IPv6 route.
