Bug ID 700389: Bundled state for B2200, B4300 and B4450 may show as 'unsupported' in multi-blade cluster

Last Modified: Oct 16, 2023

Affected Product(s):
BIG-IP LTM(all modules)

Known Affected Versions:
14.0.0, 14.0.0.1, 14.0.0.2, 14.0.0.3, 14.0.0.4, 14.0.0.5, 14.0.1, 14.0.1.1

Opened: Jan 02, 2018

Severity: 4-Minor

Symptoms

After a clean install the 'bundled' attribute may show as 'unsupported' for the interface on the non-primary blade. The GUI will not allow the interface to be bundled.

Impact

The bundle property for 40G interfaces is not available in the GUI on the non-primary blades. The command 'tmsh list net interface bundle' incorrectly shows 'not-supported' on non-primary blades for 40G interfaces where bundling is really supported.

Conditions

Clean install where the interface configuration is the default configuration, on a cluster with multiple blades.

Workaround

Run the following tmsh command to restore bundling properties: tmsh modify net interface <slot>/<interface>.0 bundle enabled/disabled
