When OSPFv2 is configured to make use of summary addresses englobing another more specific route, it is possible that the summary address is removed from the routing table if the routing process is cleared.
The summary route may disappear after clearing the OSPF routing process.
- Configure OSPFv2. - Configure summary-address within the OSPF routing configuration. - Configure an RHI address of another external route that is within the summary-address range to trigger the creation of the summary route. - Clear the OSPF routing process.
