Symptoms

Virtual server in a non-default partition is not able to select protocol inspection profile in the /Common partition. The system posts messages similar to the following: 01070726:3: Virtual Server /internal/vs-internalvs in partition internal cannot be referenced by Protocol Inspection Profile /Common/protocol_inspection in partition Common

Impact

Cannot associate the profile.

Conditions

-- Create a partition. -- Create a virtual server in that partition. -- Try and associate an IPS profile from /Common partition to the created virtual server.

Workaround

None.

Fix Information

Profile is now associated with virtual server.
