Symptoms

/var/log/boot.log has this error: dhcp_config: save error: 01070911:3: The requested host (ntp-servers-ip) is invalid for servers in ntp (/Common/ntp).

Impact

- DNS and NTP servers are not configured in MCPD. - Name resolution can break.

Conditions

- The BIG-IP system has DHCP enabled for management interface. - Multiple NTP servers or domain-search are specified in the dhclient lease (stored at /var/lib/dhclient/dhclient.leases).

Workaround

None.
