Symptoms

Syntax error in dynamic script after rewriting performed at client side.

Impact

Web-application might not function as expected: syntax errors in browsers console, etc.

Conditions

-- JavaScript comment that begins with characters '/*/'. -- Comment rewritten on the client side.

Workaround

In some cases you can apply a custom iRule to replace '/*/' with '/*'.

Fix Information

JavaScript regular expression in client-side JavaScript-rewriter is fixed.
