Symptoms

Crypto traffic such as SSL traffic processing stopped.

Impact

The BIG-IP device cannot pass crypto traffic.

Conditions

This issues may occur in following condition: - After configuring SSL profiles on the platforms where crypto hardware such as Intel QAT crypto SSL is present and due to unknown issues if the crypto hardware fails.

Workaround

Refresh the SSL profiles or delete/re-create SSL profiles which process SSL traffic. Crypto traffic will be processed by software codec, it will impact the system performance as crypto traffic will be processed by software codec. To recover the crypto hardware, reboot the system, if it is a VE/vCMP guest, then reboot host/hypervisor.
