If Password Policy is enabled and the Minimum Duration setting is a value greater than 0, this specifies the user cannot change their password to a new one for that number of days. For admin users this is enforced in the GUI but not in tmsh.
If a user with Administrator privileges uses the Configuration Utility to change their password while inside the Minimum Duration window, the password change will be denied with this error: 01070366:3: Bad password (admin): You must wait longer to change your password However, if you attempt to change the password via tmsh while inside the Minimum Duration window, the password change will be allowed.
This occurs if you have the Password Policy enabled and configured with a minimum duration greater than 0. - Password Policy is disabled by default in all 13.x and earlier versions. - If Password Policy is enabled, the Minimum Duration setting is set to 0 by default.
There is no workaround at this time.
