Symptoms

TCP flows are reset with root cause of 'Failed to find Sync Data' on TMM.

Impact

The flow ID is used to identify flows, and changes in between, thus causing the receiving end of the split session fail to find the shared data. TCP flow resets when the inline devices modify the flow ID, such as IP address or port number.

Conditions

-- SSLO-deployed applications that connect to L3 devices. -- Virtual server uses Split Session to synchronize data across inline devices or between two BIG-IP systems.

Workaround

Ensure that the inline devices do not change the flow ID.
